The Access Card is available to those people who have a disability (as defined by the Equality Act) and it’s designed to streamline the process of communicating your access needs by easy-to-understand symbols, highlighted on the card. Think of it as a Disability Passport.

In addition to translating your needs into symbols, the Access Card serves as a recognised proof of your requirements, making it much easier to express your condition and specific needs at different venues and may give you

access to things like concessionary ticket prices. The card can be used at over 3,000 venues/events across the UK, including live music events & venues, festivals, museums, zoos, National Trust and much more.

Applying for the Access Card can be done online or by phone and will cost £25.00. Once you’ve completed your application, your card will be sent to you within five working days.

You may be required to submit official documentation regarding your disability – for example proof of letter from DWP regarding your Attendance Allowance, PIP, DLA etc. letters from GPs or Consultants.
