Singing Group

Studies have shown that singing offers an engaging way to enhance voice and communication for people living with mild to moderately severe Parkinson’s. Singing can increase vocal loudness, respiratory muscle strength and voice-related quality of life. We sing together as a group in a karaoke style.

About the event

Twice monthly, on the second and fourth Friday. Studies have shown that singing offers an engaging way to enhance voice and communication for people living with mild to moderately severe Parkinson’s. Singing can increase vocal loudness, respiratory muscle strength and voice-related quality of life. We sing together as a group in a karaoke style with over 40,000 songs to choose from, we’re sure there will be a track you like! There will be no singing group session on 11th April, World Parkinson’s Day.
