The Movers and Shakers are a group of 6 public figures who all have Parkinson’s and are not afraid to say what they think. And they have been saying it in their podcast about Parkinson’s. 

They successfully reached 100,000 signatures on their ‘Parky Charter’ to trigger a Parliamentary debate on: speedy specialists, instant information, a Parkinson’s passport, comprehensive care and a quest for cure.

The debate took place on November 17th 2025, with a packed public gallery and over 40 MPs.  They remain focussed on increasing funding for people living with Parkinson’s.
